What is Futures Opening Bonus?

The Futures Opening Bonus is a virtual fund designed to amplify your position size when trading futures on AscendEX. It has a specific value and exchange ratio of 1:1 with USDT. It increases your maximum allowable position size during order placement. Note: This bonus cannot be used to offset futures trading fees, funding fees, or trading losses.

How to Use Futures Opening Bonus?

The Futures Opening Bonus must be used in conjunction with your own funds (non- Futures Opening Bonus funds). Trading with the bonus alone is not permitted. The system automatically applies the bonus to expand your maximum position size when opening positions.

If Own Funds ≥ Bonus Amount: Available Margin = Own Funds + Bonus Amount
Example: With 10,000 USDT in own funds and 5,000 USDT in bonus, available margin = 15,000 USDT.

If Own Funds < Bonus Amount: Available Margin = 2 × Own Funds
Example: With 500 USDT in own funds and 2,000 USDT in bonus, available margin = 1,000 USDT.

How to Check Your Futures Opening Bonus?

Method 1: : Navigate to [Wallet] > [Futures Account] to view the bonus balance.

Method 2: Access the [Margin Info] section on the [Futures Trading] page.

Method 3: Visit [Futures Bonus] > [My Rewards] for detailed information, including expiration date and status.

Terms & Conditions for using Futures Opening Bonus

1. Futures Opening Bonus is virtual funds and does not represent real assets. The bonus itself cannot be transferred, gifted, exchanged, or withdrawn, but profits earned using the bonus can be withdrawn.
2. Futures Opening Bonus is currently only supported in Cross Margin mode.
3. Futures Opening Bonus will not be included in liquidation price calculations. When the bonus is active, liquidation prices are calculated based solely on your own funds (non- Futures Opening Bonus funds).
4. If your Futures account triggers liquidation/margin call, or you withdraw any amount of assets from the Futures Account, the bonus will be automatically reset to zero.
5. Futures Opening Bonus has a validity period, with the current default period set to 14 days. Any unused bonus will automatically expire and become invalid.
6. Futures Opening Bonus cannot be used for Copy Trading.
7. Sub-accounts are ineligible to participate in bonus campaigns or receive Futures Opening Bonus.
8. In case of finding violations such as mass registration to obtain multiple Futures Opening Bonus or other cheating behaviors, AscendEX reserves the right to cancel the account's eligibility to participate in events and recover the Futures Opening Bonus already issued to such account.
9. AscendEX reserves the final right of interpretation over the Futures Opening Bonus, including but not limited to modifying, changing, or canceling Futures Bonus Credits without prior notice.
